Rachel Hurst, Group Operations Director at Domino Printing Sciences, has been presented with an IET Achievement Medal, one of the key prizes of the Institution of Engineering and Technology’s (IET) 2015 Achievement Awards, in recognition of her distinguished contribution to manufacturing and engineering.
The IET Achievement Awards recognise the world’s top engineering talent, acknowledging individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to the advancement of science, engineering and technology in any sector, whether through research and development in their respective technical fields or through their leadership of an enterprise.
“I am thrilled to receive this recognition from the IET and very touched to have been nominated by my peers,” comments Hurst. “Although the accolade is a personal one, I believe I owe it to the skilled and talented team at Domino who excel in what they do and help to ensure we remain at the forefront of our field.”
Naomi Climer, IET President added: “Our awards are a way for the engineering industry to recognise the truly talented individuals within the sector. The IET is passionate about promoting engineering excellence and the Achievement Awards showcase some of the world’s best engineering talent.”
